Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Reblogged this on Sherry's Space.
I love Emerson and especially this poem. It reminds me of one by Frost, The Road Not Taken “I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.” The road less travelled by or the one without a path always lead to better adventure I think.
CanI bring a GPS? I hate getting lost.
I use mine every frickin day!
“I maintain that Truth is a pathless land, and you cannot approach it by any path whatsoever, by any religion, by any sect. … The moment you follow someone you cease to follow Truth.”
― Jiddu Krishnamurti
Indeed! Thanks for stopping by!
To bathe in the memories of your childhood was beautiful. To encounter another soul blindly walking through a bush, even better.
One must always grab a sickle and be prepared!
