Polly Lolly

ImageThere was a girl named Polly Lolly who
was very neat and tidy
She loved to read the life and
times of the goddess Aphrodite
Polly Lolly was of small stature very quiet and slight
She was a very playful child and did
so with lots of sprite
She would conjure up a potion or two
when ever she had an urge
Often times when she did some strange
things did emerge
Polly wanted to figure out how to be
a goddess of love
So a potion she did mix and it turned
a crow into a dove
Ah hah Miss Lolly thought now I must
try this on me
This brew tuned a old crow to a dove
as pretty as can be
As the story goes Polly drank the
concoction of blue
Was not made for her consumption
her dreams did not come true
As she was standing waiting for the
magic to transform
A swirling smoke did start to appear
and it was quite a storm
After the smoke cleared away
much to Polly’s surprise
A big white bird
became present
and swept her
to the skies
